Acceptance and scope

These Terms of Service form an agreement between you and SautiLink Corporation governing your access to SautiLink websites, applications, accounts, content and related services. By joining the waitlist, creating an account, accessing or using SautiLink, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree, do not use the service. If you use SautiLink for an organization, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organization, and “you” includes the organization where appropriate.

Who may use SautiLink

You must be at least 13 years old, or the higher minimum age required by law where you live. If you are below the age of legal majority, you may use SautiLink only with any permission required from a parent or legal guardian.

You must be legally capable of entering this agreement and must not be barred from receiving the service under applicable law. We may use age-appropriate experiences, limits or verification where needed to protect younger users or comply with law.

A free, evolving social network

SautiLink provides tools for people to create profiles, publish and discover content, communicate, follow conversations and participate in communities. The core social-network service is free to use; no subscription or purchase is required. Your internet, mobile-data or device provider may charge its own fees, which are not controlled by SautiLink.

Voluntary donations do not purchase preferential moderation, verification, reach or privacy rights. If SautiLink ever offers a separate paid feature, its price and additional terms will be clearly shown before any charge, and the free core service will remain available as stated here.

We may add, improve, test, limit or retire features to keep the service useful, secure and sustainable. Some features may vary by device, language, age, location or release stage.

Your account responsibilities

• Provide accurate registration information and keep essential contact details current.
• Choose a username that does not impersonate, mislead, infringe rights or falsely suggest affiliation.
• Protect your password, verification codes, recovery methods and signed-in devices.
• Do not sell, transfer, rent or give another person deceptive control of an account.
• Notify support@sautilink.com promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.

You are responsible for activity under your account to the extent permitted by law. SautiLink may reclaim usernames that violate rights, create security risks, impersonate others, or remain reserved under a disclosed username policy.

Freedom of expression, with responsibility

SautiLink supports peaceful expression, including criticism, journalism, political debate, satire, art, advocacy, unpopular ideas and disagreement. We do not remove content merely because it is critical of SautiLink, powerful institutions or public figures.

Freedom of expression does not include a right to threaten, exploit, defraud, harass, expose private information, violate intellectual-property rights, silence others through abuse, or use SautiLink for unlawful harm. Context matters: newsworthiness, public interest, intent, severity, target, cultural context and risk may affect enforcement.

Your content and the permission we need

You retain ownership of posts, photos, videos, audio, messages and other material you create and share. You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights and permissions needed to post it.

When you submit content, you grant SautiLink a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, cache, transmit, display, distribute and technically adapt that content only as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, improve and provide SautiLink according to your settings. For public content, this includes creating previews and showing it in SautiLink's own product promotion, discovery and search surfaces.

This licence allows trusted operational providers acting for SautiLink to perform necessary processing, but it does not transfer ownership to them or permit independent use. The licence ends when content is deleted from active systems, except for reasonable processing time, lawful retention, protected backups and copies others made or reshared outside our control.

Feedback

If you voluntarily send ideas or product feedback, you allow SautiLink to use that feedback without payment or obligation, but we will not publicly identify you with it without permission.

Content and conduct that are not allowed

You may not use SautiLink to create, upload, promote, coordinate or distribute:

• child sexual abuse or exploitation material, grooming, sextortion, trafficking or any sexualization of a minor;
• credible threats, incitement to violence, terrorism support, instructions for serious harm, or celebration of real-world atrocities;
• targeted harassment, bullying, stalking, hateful conduct or dehumanizing attacks based on protected characteristics;
• pornographic or sexually explicit material, sexual services, non-consensual intimate imagery or sexual deepfakes;
• another person's highly sensitive or private information without lawful authority, including doxxing or identity documents;
• fraud, scams, phishing, impersonation, deceptive fundraising, coordinated manipulation or materially harmful fabricated media;
• malware, credential theft, unauthorized access, service disruption, scraping that bypasses controls, or instructions designed to compromise systems;
• illegal goods, controlled substances, weapons transactions, human trafficking or other unlawful commercial activity;
• spam, artificial engagement, fake accounts used deceptively, bulk unsolicited messages or manipulation of recommendations and trends;
• content that infringes copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity or other legal rights; or
• instructions, coordination or evasion intended to help others violate these Terms.

Good-faith reporting, counterspeech, education, documentary evidence, art and satire may be treated differently when context is clear and the material is not being used to cause prohibited harm. SautiLink may require warnings, limited audiences or removal where store rules or local law demand it.

Reporting, blocking, moderation and appeals

When social features launch, users will be able to report inappropriate content or accounts and block abusive users inside the product. SautiLink may use human review and proportionate automated signals to identify spam, serious safety risks and possible violations.

Depending on severity, history and context, we may:

• take no action and explain that content does not violate these Terms;
• add a warning, context, age gate or visibility limitation;
• remove content or disable a feature;
• temporarily restrict, lock or suspend an account;
• permanently terminate accounts or networks engaged in severe or repeated abuse; or
• preserve evidence or contact appropriate authorities when required by law or necessary to address imminent serious harm.

We do not promise to monitor every post before publication. Reports should be made in good faith and must not be used to harass or silence others. Users may appeal eligible enforcement decisions through the in-product route or support@sautilink.com. We may prioritize urgent threats, child safety, account compromise and time-sensitive legal requests.

Security, acceptable access and testing

Do not interfere with SautiLink's operation, bypass access controls, probe non-public systems without authorization, introduce malicious code, overload the service, or access data you are not permitted to see. You may not use automated means contrary to published controls or attempt to reverse engineer protected components except where law expressly allows it.

Good-faith security research must minimize harm, avoid accessing or retaining other people's data, and be reported privately before public disclosure. A dedicated vulnerability-disclosure process may be published as the platform develops.

SautiLink property and infringement reports

The SautiLink name, logos, visual identity, software, original site content and product design are owned by SautiLink Corporation or its licensors and are protected by applicable law. These Terms do not grant permission to use our trademarks, impersonate the service or copy protected materials beyond ordinary personal use of the service.

If you believe content infringes your copyright, trademark or another right, send a sufficiently detailed notice to support@sautilink.com. Include your contact information, the protected work or right, the exact location of the material, your good-faith statement and evidence of authority. We may remove material and notify the uploader, who may have a right to respond.

Links, devices and app marketplaces

SautiLink may contain links to independent websites or content. We do not control their availability, accuracy, security or terms, and your use of them is at your own risk. A link does not mean endorsement.

If you download SautiLink through an app marketplace or use it on a particular device, that marketplace or device provider may apply its own terms and privacy practices. Those terms govern your relationship with that provider; these Terms govern your relationship with SautiLink. Store rules control only to the extent required for distribution through that store.

Privacy is part of the agreement

Our Privacy Policy explains the data SautiLink handles, the purposes, safeguards, retention periods, user rights and deletion process. It is incorporated into these Terms. Privacy settings do not eliminate the risk that another user may copy or reshare information they can legitimately view.

Account deletion, suspension and termination

You may stop using SautiLink at any time. Current waitlist participants can ask us to remove their information. When accounts launch, permanent account deletion will be available through account settings and our Account & Data Deletion page.

We may suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary to enforce these Terms, comply with law, protect users, prevent serious risk, or respond to repeated or severe violations. Where appropriate, we will provide notice, a reason and an appeal route. Immediate action may be necessary for child exploitation, credible threats, account compromise, large-scale spam, fraud or attacks on the service.

Provisions that by their nature should survive termination remain effective, including ownership, limited retained licences, legal compliance, disclaimers, liability limits and dispute terms.

Service changes and availability

We work to keep SautiLink reliable, but the service may be interrupted for maintenance, security, internet failures, emergencies or events beyond reasonable control. Beta and pre-release features may change, contain errors or be withdrawn.

We may stop offering all or part of the service. Where practical, we will give reasonable notice and an opportunity to export eligible data before a permanent discontinuation.

Disclaimers, responsibility and liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SautiLink is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, that all content is accurate, that every harmful act will be prevented, or that the service will meet every individual requirement. Nothing here excludes warranties or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.

You are responsible for your content, conduct, reliance on other users' content and compliance with law. SautiLink is not responsible for user-generated content merely because it is transmitted through the platform, but we may act on valid reports and legal obligations.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SautiLink Corporation and its personnel will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive loss, or loss of profits, data, goodwill or opportunity arising from use of the service. Any total liability for a claim will be limited to the greater of the amount you paid SautiLink for the affected service during the preceding twelve months or the minimum amount required by applicable law.

You agree to be responsible for reasonably foreseeable losses and claims caused by your unlawful content, deliberate misconduct or material breach of these Terms. This does not require a consumer to indemnify SautiLink where such an obligation is prohibited or unfair under applicable law.

Governing law and resolving concerns

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania, without excluding mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live.

Before filing a formal claim, please contact team@sautilink.com and describe the concern. We will try to resolve it in good faith. If informal resolution fails, disputes may be brought before courts of competent jurisdiction in Tanzania, unless applicable law gives you the right to use another court or dispute process.

Updates and other legal terms

We may update these Terms as the service evolves or legal requirements change. For material changes, we will provide reasonable notice and identify the effective date. If you do not agree to an update, you may stop using and delete your account before it takes effect.

If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining Terms continue. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not transfer this agreement without our consent; SautiLink may transfer it as part of a legitimate reorganization while preserving applicable user rights. These Terms, the Privacy Policy and any feature-specific terms form the entire agreement about the service.
