Freedom of expressionYour voice is welcome. Harm is not. Share ideas, discuss public issues and disagree peacefully. These Guidelines explain the boundaries for threats, exploitation, targeted abuse, harmful deception and manipulation, so others can participate safely.

Freedom of expressionReporting, education, documentary evidence and public-interest discussion may be treated differently from promoting or coordinating harm.
How decisions are madeThreats, incitement, intimidation, exploitation, targeted hate, doxxing, fraud and organized manipulation receive stricter action.
Understand the safety rulesSautiLink Community Guidelines
These Community Guidelines apply to profiles, usernames, bios, posts, photos, videos, polls, comments, replies, reposts, quotes, Rooms, direct messages, notifications, verification submissions and other member activity on SautiLink.
Room owners and moderators can set additional local rules, but local rules cannot authorize conduct that violates SautiLink-wide safety requirements. Private or audience-restricted spaces are not exempt from these Guidelines.
These Guidelines work alongside the Terms of Service, Privacy Policy and Upload Guidelines.
SautiLink permits criticism, journalism, investigation, political discussion, advocacy, parody, satire, religious and non-religious viewpoints, artistic expression, peaceful organizing and disagreement about public issues. Criticism of a government, political party, public institution, company, ideology, region or public figure is not prohibited merely because it is harsh or unpopular.
You may challenge claims, quote public statements, document misconduct, discuss historical conflict and argue for lawful political or social change. You may also criticize SautiLink itself.
We moderate conduct and risk, not political loyalty. SautiLink does not require members to support a party, politician, government, region, ideology or official position in order to participate.
Political and regional speech can affect public safety and social trust quickly. We therefore apply heightened review to content involving elections, government authority, political movements, regional identity, ethnicity, tribe, nationality, borders, communal conflict and calls for collective action.
We may act faster or apply stronger restrictions where political or regional content creates a credible risk of offline harm, coordinated intimidation or communal violence. Context, intent, reach, target, immediacy and public-interest value can affect the response.
Do not threaten, encourage, celebrate or coordinate serious physical harm. This includes credible threats, targeted incitement, instructions designed to enable an imminent violent attack, trafficking, kidnapping, extortion, terrorism support or recruitment, and coordination of violent criminal activity.
Documentary, journalistic, educational or condemnatory discussion of violence may be allowed when the context does not promote or facilitate harm. Graphic material may be limited in visibility or removed when necessary to protect people or comply with law.
Disagreement is allowed. Persistent targeted abuse designed to intimidate, silence or endanger someone is not. We can act on stalking, repeated unwanted targeting, sexual harassment, threats, coordinated pile-ons, malicious exposure of private information and severe bullying.
Do not attack or dehumanize people because of race, ethnicity, tribe, nationality, regional origin, religion, sex, gender, disability or another protected characteristic. Do not call for violence, exclusion or collective punishment against a protected group.
Criticism of beliefs, institutions, governments, ideologies, political parties or public conduct is generally allowed when it targets ideas or actions rather than calling for harm against people because of who they are.
You may use a public name, creator identity, brand identity or pseudonym where the account does not deceptively impersonate another person or organization. Do not create accounts designed to mislead people about who is speaking, especially when pretending to be SautiLink staff, a public authority, journalist, business, political organization or public figure.
Verification is an identity and authenticity signal, not an endorsement of a member's opinions, politics, products or conduct. Verified members must follow the same Community Guidelines and can lose verification when eligibility is lost or serious violations occur.
To apply, open Settings → Account → Verification. The official SautiLink Verification page explains how to get verified, what public evidence can help and the optional public ownership signal. Verification requests are usually reviewed within 14 days, and a rejected request can be subject to the current reapplication period shown in the product.
Do not use SautiLink to run phishing, credential theft, impersonation scams, deceptive fundraising, fraudulent sales, advance-fee schemes, malicious investment claims or other conduct intended to obtain money, accounts or sensitive information through deception.
Do not operate coordinated fake identities, bot-like spam, repetitive unsolicited messaging, artificial likes/follows/reposts, engagement rings or deceptive networks intended to manipulate ranking, popularity, political discussion or public perception.
Normal promotion, campaigning, community organizing and coordinated lawful advocacy are not prohibited merely because multiple people share the same message. The violation is deceptive or abusive coordination, not genuine collective participation.
Do not publish highly sensitive personal information to facilitate harassment, theft, stalking or physical harm. This can include private home addresses, private phone numbers, passwords, authentication codes, private financial credentials, identity documents or precise real-time location when disclosure creates a serious safety risk.
Do not share non-consensual intimate images, sexual deepfakes or private sexual material without the depicted person's permission. Report urgent privacy or account-safety concerns through the available reporting tools or contact support. See the Privacy Policy for SautiLink data practices.
SautiLink has zero tolerance for child sexual exploitation, grooming, sextortion, sexualization of minors or sexual abuse material involving children. We may remove content, restrict accounts, preserve necessary evidence and make legally required reports where applicable.
Sexual coercion, trafficking, non-consensual sexual content and threats to share intimate material are prohibited. Explicit sexual content or solicitation can also be restricted where it is incompatible with the feature, audience safety or applicable law. Health, breastfeeding, educational, documentary and artistic context may be treated differently when it is not exploitative.
People may talk about mental health, recovery, lived experience and seeking support. Do not encourage, pressure or celebrate suicide or self-harm, target a vulnerable person with encouragement to harm themselves, or use SautiLink to coordinate dangerous acts likely to cause serious injury.
Graphic or instructional material may be restricted when it creates a meaningful risk of imitation or immediate harm. Context such as prevention, journalism, education and recovery support matters.
Do not use SautiLink to distribute malware, steal credentials, coordinate unauthorized access, attack systems, bypass security controls, disrupt services or provide material assistance clearly intended for unlawful cyber abuse.
Do not use the platform to facilitate trafficking, exploitation, unlawful weapons transactions, illegal drugs, stolen goods or other prohibited transactions. Discussion, reporting, harm-reduction information, policy debate and lawful educational content can be treated differently from a transaction or operational facilitation.
Upload or share content only when you own it, have permission, or otherwise have a lawful basis to use it. Do not use SautiLink to knowingly distribute infringing material or impersonate a brand in a deceptive way.
Copyright and intellectual-property complaints can be sent through SautiLink support with enough information to identify the work, the disputed material and the complainant's authority to act.
These Guidelines apply to captions, media, polls, comments, replies, quotes, repost commentary, hashtags and mentions. A repost does not automatically mean endorsement, but adding praise, instructions or targeted harassment can create responsibility for the added context.
Rooms may set additional community rules and use Owner, Admin or Moderator roles. Room staff may manage membership and local activity, but cannot override SautiLink-wide rules. Public and private Rooms are both covered.
Messages are intended for conversation participants rather than the public feed, but private messaging is not a loophole for threats, harassment, scams, sexual exploitation, illegal transactions or malicious files. Recipients can report eligible messages or conversations.
Media and files must follow these Community Guidelines and the current Upload Guidelines. File type, size, duration, dimensions, attachment count and validation rules are documented there.
A technically valid upload can still be removed if the content violates safety rules. A lawful and safe file can still fail if it exceeds a technical upload limit or is corrupt.
Our response depends on severity, context, likelihood of harm, account history, target, reach and whether a less restrictive action can address the risk. Actions can include:
Not every controversial or reported post will be removed. Reports are signals for review; they are not votes that automatically determine an outcome.
Moderation does not cancel your account privacy controls. You can review the Account & Data Deletion process even if an account is restricted, subject to limited lawful retention of safety or legal records.
Use the Report option available from eligible posts, comments, profiles or conversations when you believe something violates these Guidelines. See how reporting, blocking and muting work.
If SautiLink takes an eligible moderation action against your content or account, you can use the Appeals area to request review. Appeals can result in the original action being upheld or reversed. Additional context, public interest and the applicable rule may be considered.
Do not submit knowingly false reports, mass-report someone merely because you disagree with them, or coordinate reporting to silence lawful political, regional or personal expression.
Yes. Peaceful political opinions, criticism, reporting, debate, satire and advocacy are allowed. We become stricter when political or regional content involves threats, incitement, intimidation, dangerous deceptive civic instructions, impersonation, coordinated manipulation, doxxing or hate against communities.
Read the official SautiLink Verification page, then open Settings → Account → Verification to request verification or check your status.
Open the available More/Safety menu on the relevant post, comment, profile or conversation and choose Report. More guidance is available in the Help Centre.
Open Appeals while signed in. Eligible actions can be reviewed and may be upheld or reversed.
